I am sick!

I am sick!

I have been sick for two days now. Running nose, teary eyes, sore throat and every bone/muscle in my body hurts.

The good thing is that it was the weekend so I did not skip on any training.

Let me tell you a story

Let me tell you a story. I had a sore throat for a couple of days, but it was manageable. Then, two days ago I went for a walk with my friend and her dog. It was very moist and cold outside and the fact that we were walking by the sea for two hours did not make matters better.

The next day, I woke up sick at 9AM. My body was hurting, but my mind was crystal clear. I got up and wrote an entire lesson Elementary Laravel: Mail. I did not stop there. I decided, since I was sick and bound to stay at home, that I would finally finish redesigning the website for Laravelista. I was up and working on it until 2AM in the morning. The redesign is now complete.

Graduation thesis vacuum

Today, I have spent the entire day preparing myself to finish my graduation thesis. I have responded to every email that was waiting for me, called everyone that I needed to call, overclocked my PC, cleaned up my graduation thesis folder on my PC, installed proofing tools for Office for Croatian language, set my timer for 1 hour and disabled all notifications on both my PC and phone.

The hour went by in a second.

I did nothing. I don't even know where did the time go and what I was doing for the entire time. The timer went off and I have decided that I will at least read the damn thing before calling it a day. It took me maybe 20 minutes to read it and I must admit, it is not bad.

Tomorrow I will fix the mistakes that the committee wrote and figure out a way to add extra 10 pages to it. Wish me luck!

Even tough my body was still hurting, I decided to stick to my exercise plan for today. A bit over 30 minutes this time; I added 3 series of push ups at the end. I drank a protein shake with creatine after the training. I can already feel the difference in my muscles from taking creatine. Next time I am going to increase the weight on my dumbbells and see how it goes.

Over and out.
